We are seeking an experienced Quality Control and Compliance Specialist who will be an integral part in overseeing the company’s compliance documentation and adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves a combination of technical, content management and strong communication skills.The Quality Control and Compliance Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of all compliance documentation required for products used in the production of wine, cider, and other specialty beverages and to provide customer service support and services as needed.

- Create and implement various Food Safety protocols across multiple warehouse sites in accordance with the principles of HACCP, FSMA and internal SOPs for Scott Laboratories
- Timely and accurate creation of custom compliance documents for customers on request
- Conducts routine verification activities of Food Safety programs across multiple sites and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitoring and checking for abnormalities in products, out of specification requirements, and non-conformities
- Maintain up to date compliance documentation via various approved systems
- Support and provide all relevant documentation for customers undergoing various certifications and audits in an accessible manner
- Foster relationships with quality and compliance representatives from key customer accounts and suppliers
- Maintain FDA registration, California Department of Public Health registration, and accounts with other regulatory bodies on behalf of Scott Laboratories
- Utilize our CRM platform to enhance and catalog QC related issues
- Enter, edit, and process orders or other transactions as required through the company ERP
- Routinely monitor inventory to isolate expired and soon-to-be expiring inventory
- Bachelor's Degree or related work experience preferred
- Food Safety, HACCP and or wine industry experience required
- Strong interpersonal skill with the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and communicate complex compliance issues clearly and concisely
- Computer skills. Including ERP, CRM, Microsoft Suite applications, and general office equipment
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Location: Hybrid position reporting to the Petaluma, CA location
Salary Range: $80K - $92K DOE

We are seeking an experienced Product Application Technician for our Fermentation and Enology department. This role involves a combination of technical, content management and strong communication skills.The Product Application Technician will be an integral part of the Fermentation and Enology department supporting sales, product enhancement and regulatory compliance. - Bachelor's Degree in wine or a science-related field
- 3 years production experience
- Self-motivated and thoughtful regarding activities relative to strategic plans
- Strong computer skills. Including ERP, CRM, Microsoft Suite applications, and general office equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and collaborate in teams
- Domestic and international travel may be occasionally required
Compensation Range: $75K - $83K DOE
